RawTrader | UK Industry & Bills is a UK newsletter and open data project tracking energy bills, fuel prices, public tenders, company closures and FCA short positions, using official data from Ofgem, DESNZ, ONS, Companies House, Find a Tender and the FCA.
We write about what UK households and businesses pay, and what that does to factories, jobs and public money. Numbers first, sources always linked. Data only, not investment advice.
What data we publish
Energy bills: the Ofgem price cap, unit rates and standing charges by region.
Fuel prices: UK diesel and petrol pump prices from DESNZ weekly road fuel prices.
Public tenders: new UK public sector contracts and awards from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.
Company births and closures: new incorporations, liquidations and dissolutions from Companies House and The Gazette.
Short positions: the FCA daily net short positions disclosures.
Industry context: ONS output and price statistics.
How often
Short web posts most days, and one weekly roundup by email on Friday morning (UK time).
